ABC Psychology is a private-pay practice and does not currently accept insurance. Superbills can be provided through Ivy Pay for families who would like to seek potential reimbursement through eligible insurance plans or approved funding sources. 

I work with children and teens across a wide range of ages depending on the service being requested. Services are individualized to each child’s unique needs and concerns. Please contact me to discuss how I may best support your child and family. 

Parents often seek evaluations when they notice concerns related to attention, learning, academic performance, emotional functioning, behavior, executive functioning, giftedness, or overall school-related difficulties. Evaluations can also help provide a better understanding of a child’s learning profile, areas of strength, and educational needs. 

School evaluations are completed through the school district to help determine eligibility for school-based services and supports. Private evaluations are more individualized and often provide more comprehensive information regarding a child’s cognitive, academic, emotional, behavioral, and executive functioning profile along with detailed recommendations. 

Yes. ABC Psychology is an approved provider for eligible Step Up For Students scholarship programs, including PEP and FES-UA. 

Evaluation costs vary depending on the type and complexity of the evaluation being completed. Please contact me to discuss your concerns, recommended services, and current pricing. Eligible families may also be able to utilize approved Step Up For Students scholarship funds for services. 

Counseling sessions are typically 30 or 45 minutes depending on the child’s age, needs, and treatment goals. Parent collaboration is an important part of the counseling process at ABC Psychology, and optional weekly parent consultation calls are available to provide updates, discuss strategies, answer questions, and support consistency across home and family environments. 

Yes. Parents may choose to share private evaluation results with their child’s school if they would like the school team to review the information and recommendations. Final decisions regarding eligibility and school-based services are determined by the school district. 

Yes. Virtual counseling is available depending on the child’s age, needs, and the type of service being requested. Please contact me to discuss whether virtual services may be appropriate for your child.

Yes. I believe collaboration can be an important part of providing the most comprehensive and well-rounded support for a child and family when needed. Collaboration with pediatricians, psychiatrists, tutors, private schools, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and other professionals can be incorporated when appropriate and beneficial to supporting your child’s needs. A signed Release of Information form is required prior to communication with outside providers or schools. 

Yes. Good Faith Estimates are provided at the start of services in accordance with the No Surprises Act for uninsured or self-pay clients and can also be provided at any time upon request.
